Ordered the Yupdduk Oh $22 and added glass noodles $2. The portion can feed 3-4 people.. it’s pretty big! We waited for a good 30 min.. so give yourself some time when you come here! We got the mild spice and it was still too spicy for me. I want to go back and try the extra mild which the server said it’ll be sweeter. Apparently the original is equivalent to the fire noodles. Soo ask before getting the original.. it’s not packed inside but to go orders were consistent as we were there. This store is to the left of the supermarket. Parking is a bit hard so I’d suggest just to park anywhere you can since it’s a plaza and everyone shares parking. I definitely will be coming back since portion wise was big and a decent price.
Update: they have new items on their menu!!

I ordered the ham kimbap, fishcake soup, beef bulgogi stew, and Combo C. The set portion was huge honestly enough for 4 people or multiple meals. I got the Yup Oh jiajang spice level with added rose to lessen the spice and makes it more creamy. The set also came with glass noodle, veggie fries, seaweed rice balls, and kimchi. It wasn't too spicy but super flavorful. The beef bulgogi stew had glass noodles and beef bulgogi and it was very good and came out sizzling. The fish cake soup had lots of fishcake and I actually mixed it with the beef bulgogi stew and was perfect. Overall everything tasted great and flavorful. I also love the glass noodle/ vermicelli they use here because it soaks in all the flavors and keeps its chewy texture. The server Kevin was very helpful. The parking lot was kind of small but it's next to a supermarket so there's more parking on that side.

First time trying Yup Oh and it was delicious and very satisfying. Its a huge bowl. It was easily before 4 people. Yes thats how big it is. I wasnt expecting it to be so big. The sauce is nice and saucy and the cheese is high flavored cheese. If you dont like spicy, get the super medium. Thats spicy enough for me. We also go the parmesa squid steak, it was bomb. The sauces that was on it gives it a flavorful mouth watering taste. I finished that first. That is a good size also. All the food was consistent. Cant forget about the seaweed rice balls…🤤😋. The service there was A1. The manager was super nice. Keep up the great work. Go eat at Yupdduk, and tell your friends and family.

Being an avid foodie and mukbang watcher, I was on the hunt for a good tteok-bokki and let me tell you..Yupdduk did NOT disappoint! The staff was friendly and patient while I navigated the unfamiliar menu and the meal exceeded expectations! There are several options to add if you like more variety. The portions are definitely large so bring a friend or plan for leftovers! (Unless you're a famous mukbanger or competitive eater lol) I guess it speaks for itself that I've already come back less than a week later and dragged my boyfriend with. YUM!

stopped by for a late lunch and the restaurant was pretty full. the food arrived very quickly and was piping hot perfect for a rainy Saturday afternoon. we ordered extra mild rice cakes and it was the perfect level of spice. we ordered the udon one and the ramen one. i enjoyed the ramen one more. we also ordered the fried assortment and my favorite was the fried sweet potato and fried pumpkin. the kimchi tuna rice was also really good. we also tried one of their specials Parmesan squid and it was my favorite dish. service was also really good and fast.

I was SOooooo glad there’s FINALLY yupdduk in diamond bar!!!!!!!!!!! It was next to the Korean market mall so easy to park everywhere:))
It was available for dine-in at the restaurant. Just needed to get checked my temperature and use sanitizer for safety from covid-19 hehe. I love spicy food but had to go all the way to los angeles to eat yupdduk but the taste is same and definitely satisfied with the services!!!! I got 10% discount for dine-in there. This place is going to be my favorite place and I’m gonna come again🥰🥰 I love Korean food❣️❣️

Had a craving for Korean food and this definitely hit the spot! Stopped by for a late afternoon lunch and left with a full belly. After reading all the other reviews, we decided on ordering everything extra mild and it was a good thing we did. The rice cakes had a nice texture and the sauce was so flavorful and not too spicy. We also tried one of their specials, Parmesan garlic squid which was one of my favorites. For the non-spicy dishes, I recommend the fried assortment and kimbap. Service was quick and attentive.

My favorite things to order here is their new Mala tang rosé yupdduk with sausage and fish cakes! I also get the ham and cheese rice bowl or the omelette rice. Their kimbap and udon combo is really good too! It is the perfect place for a takeout at night when you just want to lounge in PJs while watching K drama and eat delicious food. The rice cakes in the yupdduk is super soft, chewy and tasty and the sauce is incredibly delicious! It is my go to restaurant to eat with a bunch of friends or to do take out!

I mean it’s Yupdduk—can’t go wrong. Ordered 20 mins in advance, showed up and paid then enjoyed one Yupdduk (fish cake & rice cake doused in delicious sauce ranging from 5 different spice levels) w extra cheese & ramen noodles added + one cokes = $37. Well worth the price, as my partner and I had leftovers for two days after.
There is a single restroom available inside reserved for customers only and it is very clean. Establishment has a B rating for whatever reason but all looks well inside.

Ordered the Mild YukDuk (#1) that has extra rice cake. Added extra rice cake and glass noodle, totaling $28. Keynote, they say the original spice level is the same as the Korean Spicy Chicken instant noodle, so you get a good idea how spicy this is. Mild is still pretty strong so most people should go for the extra mild. This bowl of food can feed two for both lunch and dinner, well worth the money.

Sometimes you need that special "too hot to handle" type of spicy food to rev up your engine after a long day. I'm talking about extra mild here is spicy enough kinda spicy and not five peppers is barely a two kinda Chinese food spicy. Get a mild if you need to sweat or medium if you enjoy pain. What's there to complain about. You get what you ask for. And you'll come back for more. Know what I mean?

✨Who knew that seaweed rice balls would be the star of the meal?✨ You can expect every table to order that @yupddukdiamondbar amongst the many incredibly comforting dishes here🫶🏼
First time trying Korean comfort food or don’t know what to get? Order this lineup and thank me later:

정말 맛있습니다.
떡볶이도 맛있지만 엽기 닭볶음탕이 최고네요.
주먹밥 추가는 필수입니다!
Nice taste!
The best thing for me is absolutely chicken stew.
Highly recommended.

Korean restaurant with spicy offerings. They’re currently open for delivery (à la UberEats) / takeout during covid. Came here on a Sunday for lunch; called ahead and my food was ready ~20 min later. There’s plenty of parking as it’s located in a lot. Credit cards are accepted. Service is polite and efficient.
Food wise, the menu is focused on bringing the heat. They have tteokbokki (rice cakes in a red stew with fish cakes, mozzarella cheese, and noodles). It’s comfort food, and you can opt for more fish cake or more rice cake (same price). One order could feed three to four people. You can opt for add-one; we got the Chinese noodles for an additional $3. It’s suuuuper chewy; it seems popular based on other reviews, but next time, I’d rather try ramen noodles. There were only three sausages in our order but plenty of fish cake. We also got an order of spicy wings (comes with 12). The food is very flavorful. You can customize the spice level - we opted for original, and I had to drink five glasses of water due to the spice (it was so worth it!). Overall, I really liked the food for the taste, portion, and price. I’d recommend coming here when you want to get some spicy, homey food.

Just like yupdduk in LA, it is very spicy, so please order with respectable spiciness. I ordered Yupdduk mild, seaweed kimbob, and cheese stick. Amount of food was enough for more than 2 people and it really goes well with yocool. Im glad yupdduk came to Diamond Bar, so i dont have to travel all the way to LA! 😁

The food was so delicious I would definitely go again. I was kind of iffy on going since I'm a very picky eater, but I'm so glad I went. The cashier was so sweet and super helpful. I believe her name was Hannah and she recommended me her favorite dish to try which was amazing! Definitely deserves 5 stars in my opinion.

Got seated immediately on a Tuesday evening and Sunny and Elizabeth gave good recommendations on the combos and spice levels. Food was incredible and I would come here again. The extra mild on the rose dduk barely had any spice so I would go with the mild next time.

한국보다 더 맛있어요. 자극적이지 않은 천연의 맛. 조금더 단 맛도 있습니다. 엽뗙 매니아인 아이들이 아주 맛있게 먹었습니다. (매장식사)

This place is amazing! Whenever I wanted to eat Yupdduk, I always had to drive 30 minutes.. It’s so nice to having one near my home. The taste is awesome and services are amazing. Definitely recommended!

If you like the chewy korean spicy rice cake dish, you will love it! It is bit spicy so I recommend ordering the rice dishes as a side. The portion was good enough to be shared and service as good as well.

If you’re craving Korean food then I’ve got the perfect place for you!!
I stopped by on a rainy afternoon and met up with some foodie friends. We had a party of 11, which was a tight fit but we made it work. The place is small so just keep in mind that there may be a wait time.
If you can handle the spice, they’ve got you! But, if you’re like us, we ordered extra mild, which is still spicy. The sauces for the Rice Cakes and Chicken Stew were flavorful with a kick of spice. The rice cakes were the perfect tender & chewy texture for me. Tteokbokki is one of my favorites! The Parmesan garlic squid was another favorite! The squid was cooked perfectly. I was surprised by how much I liked the Fish Cake Soup. That broth is so soothing and full of flavor! Love the bright yellow color of the pickled radish! So crispy and refreshing!
Overall, the food was so flavorful and delicious with a wonderful presentation. Your taste buds are in for a treat!! Come hungry!!
